Which age group are you in?
Unfortunately as we get older we tend to need more lessons, hence the saying "you can't teach an old dogs new tricks"
Which best describes you?
If you can dance and learn complicated new dance moves very easily, consider yourself to have good co-ordination skills.
When learning to drive both feet must operate independently of each other, for instance lifting the clutch pedal sometimes needs to be coordinated with pressing the gas or brake pedal and vice versa, this needs to be done without thinking about it as our arms may need to be changing gear or steering whilst we are concentrating on what is happening around us.
In the early stages of learning to drive we need to concentrate on the above skills, only when we can co-ordinate without thinking about it, focus and adapt correctly to what is happening around us without any prompts from a third party can we truly say "I Can Drive"
Have you driven in the last 6 months?

Which best describes you?
Learning to drive is like riding a bike, so don't worry even if you last drove 10 years ago it will only take a few lessons to get you back to that standard
A person within your age group and experience on average should require lessons to Pass the Driving Test
Please note: we have arrived at this figure from many years of teaching people to drive, everyone is different, as such there are occasionally exceptions to the rule.
If this is more than expected you should be aware that, the test is much harder then it used to be with the introduction of high speed driving and the bay parking exercise
